Hillary Clinton in Pasadena: Exclusive Interview
By Centinel | April 4, 2008
Hillary Clinton swung into town yesterday to soak true believers in the Pasadena area for campaign dollars. The shindig took place at the Twin Palms apparently, with very no warning ahead of time, even for the Pasadena Weekly, which is 50ft from the restaurant.
Traditional and alternative press didn’t get much access to event:
Clinton’s staff, apparently unaware that the Weekly office is located less than 50 feet away from the popular restaurant, were not expecting any press for the event and barred entrance to two reporters seeking access, one of them Weekly columnist Ellen Snortland, a big Clinton supporter who frequently writes about the former first lady. In fact, Snortland’s column this week is once again generally supportive of Clinton’s candidacy, which was pointed out to Clinton’s handlers.
An invitation to Clinton to visit the newspaper office and answer a few questions was either not relayed or ignored.
But the new media, yours truly, managed to score an exclusive, albeit brief, interview with Hillary…
Centinel: Mrs. Clinton, do you agree that federal and state governments should relinquish more authority back into municipal hands, to give average people real power to have an impact on how their tax dollars are spent?
Centinel: Mrs. Clinton, on a scale of one to five, how important would you say the FC Blog is to the health of the nation’s democratic processes?
There you have it: a thumbs up and a five out of five. Not too bad, not too bad.
Hillary Clinton: candidate of the average local blogger.

No wonder she’s behind on fundraising. I haven’t heard a peep from her campaign. No phone calls, no mail solicitations, nada.

LOL. Read Goldbergs “liberal fascism” and compare it to her platform and get back to me.
Coscto has it for under $14 and is an interesting read to say the least.

Dennis Kucinich was at the 35er with Duncan Hunter.

By the way, Corey Feldman was there.
Not a joke.

BWwhahahahahha…the question is: did they stay and drink till the free popcorn started to look good?
Someday, AP, you me and centy all need to imbibe together at the 35er.

“Centy?”
Are you serious? I deserve a dignified nickname. I am a serious blogger.

Wasn’t it Hillary that said she had won the Medal of Honor?

Corey Feldman?! Did he entertain the crowd with his spot-on dance imitation of Michael Jackson? By the way, a Feldman endorsement is yet another on a long list of reasons to Vote Obama!

Oh, and Fragzo, I think you’re referring to Corey Hart who wore his sunglasses at night, so he can, so he can see the light that’s right before his eyes.

That’s right, Feldman was different than Hart. One of them was busted for some serious drug possession in the early 90’s a few doors down from my place in Valley Village. Damn now I gotta do a google to find out which it was.

It was probably Feldman. Hart just disappeared, but he left us with the world’s silliest song.

Jacque Robinson and Lena Kennedy will make sure that Clinton loses to Obama. Thay are working very hard on the campaign and are doing a great job.
