Azusa Seeing Official Flight?

A key figure in the city’s multiple redevelopment projects left his post with little explanation, officials said Tuesday.
The sudden departure of Robert Person follows the exit of Bruce Coleman, the city’s former economic and community development director. Coleman resigned April 17 to work for the city of Murrieta.
Person did not return phone calls seeking comment.

Rosedale, Azusa Slows Down

…since mid-January, officials said, two of Rosedale’s four builders have stopped construction.
Christopher Homes and Taylor Morrison are continuing to build, while Fieldstone Communities and William Lyon Homes have now stopped, officials said.
Officials attributed the halt to a faltering housing market that has plagued the overall economy.
